Webinar Replay: Using Compliance and Skills Training to Increase Retention
Director of Human Resources, Michelle Griffin, at Homes by WestBay had a firmly defined goal: simplify compliance training and find a way to close employee skills gaps. The residential construction company struggled with a decentralized learning system that was run through an inefficient paper and manual process. Training and onboarding couldn’t keep up with the company’s rapid growth on it way to becoming the largest private home builder in Tampa Bay.
Griffin lead her company to PiiQ Learning by Cornerstone, a learning management system with a robust online course catalog for compliance, soft skills, leadership training and more, as well as the ability to easily create custom content. In the first year using PiiQ, Homes by WestBay was able to reduce new hire turnover by 28% by offering compliance and skills training more efficiently and with a more engaging system that encouraged employee curiosity.
