How to foster a learning culture
As an HR professional, you may find yourself faced with the question of “How do I create a culture of learning?” The answer is that delivering an effective, learning experience requires modern tools, which enable accessible, engaging, and self- directed learning.
ACCESSIBLE Smartphones, tablets, and on-the-go devices are now commonplace and essential in today’s world. Make sure your learning content can be accessed from anywhere at the point of need for the employee. Online learning typically requires 40-60% less employee time than classroom training. 67% of people learn on mobile devices; bring learning to where your employees expect to see it.
ENGAGING You wouldn’t buy a book shelf and not stock it with books, would you? If you’re going to invest in the technology to distribute learning (via any device), then make sure the content library is robust. Consider microlearning content that allow your users to gain new skills through bite-sized, inspiring videos.

Once employees build the habit of exploring the library and signing up for courses at will, for anything that strikes their curiosity, you’ve will have successfully created a culture of learning.
